In March
and April 2013, FEN has participated in various events all over the world to
enhance collaborations and exchange ideas. The Skoll World Forum in Oxford, the
award celebration of the Henry K. Kravis prize in California and a conference
about quality in the classroom in Nepal. Read our May news letter here.

2013 started with important achievements for our organization in favor of the Escuela Nueva model: 117 municipalities in Antioquia (Colombia) received our Learning Guides and Vicky Colbert was a Guest Speaker at the Education World Forum 2013 in London while we continue to advance with our project in Mexico. During September and October of 2012, FEN has advanced efforts for the international application of the EN model. We began the Project for Rural Basic Education Improvement in Puebla, México, as well as our International Study Mission with the Iraqi Ministry of Education and Unicef. Furthermore, we have participated in initiatives with the Global Partnership for Education and the 25th anniversary of FUNDAUNIBAN. For more information, check out our newsletter here. |

Fundacion Escuela Nueva is not only active in Colombia, but is an organization with an international reach. Between July and August of 2012, we hope to highlight our teacher training activities, as well as those initiatives to spread and to present the EN model as an alternative for the education of future generations Check out the newsletter here |
