Dear Friends and Partners of Escuela Nueva,

Throughout our more than 30 years, the Escuela Nueva Foundation (ENF) has expanded our areas of action and work. What started as an organization dedicated to work nationally in the rural education sector of Colombia, is now becoming an organization that responds to the actual demands of the entire country as well as the world. Today, ENF addresses the needs of the urban education sector with Escuela Nueva Activa; responds to the situations of violence, displacement, and vulnerability experienced by certain Colombian populations through our Learning Circles Model; and extends our outreach through implementation in countries throughout the world.

ENF’s continued operational growth inspired us to modify our image to better position us to face the challenges of this millennium and that of globalization. We want to better address the communication needs of our unique and new audiences. For this reason, after a corporate communications audit as well as review of our organizational strengths, we identified a new corporate image and brand standard which captures our commitment to innovation, globalization, and inclusion.

In this way, the new ENF image alludes to what we have done and captures the feeling and excitement we have in facing the challenges in generating change in education for children, which was and remains our greatest objective as an organization. We do not pretend to change who we are, only to represent our growth and development, as well as, our activity and vision. It is a reflection of our new challenges, but also our essence and values when faced with the constant search for quality in education.

In conclusion, the aforementioned change and renovation will allow the ENF to build and to strengthen our relationship with our allies and to continue to build confidence amongst one another as well as our commitment to our country.
